[InHam] Indiana Section Manager Election

Nominations have closed and the field of candidates for Indiana Section
Manager has been fixed at 2, John Poindexter, W3ML, and myself.  Ballots
will be mailed to all Indiana ARRL members before October 1st.

I urge all of those who are eligible to vote to do so.  As with any
election, it is important for your voice to be heard.  Of course, I would
prefer that you vote for me.  However, it is more important that you vote,
regardless of the candidate.

The new Section Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the section
staff is responsive to the needs of all Indiana amateurs, not just those who
are ARRL members.  He will also be responsible for maintaining close contact
with all Indiana amateurs to correctly identify what those needs are.

If elected, I pledge that serving the needs of Indiana amateur radio
operators will be my primary objective & will support ALL facets of our
hobby.  To accomplish this, I will make full use of an effective section
staff, and will maintain close liaison with ARRL Headquarters, the Central
Division Director, and amateurs throughout Indiana.
