Henry County Amateur Radio Club

In preparation for the HCARC 2009 Field Day on June 27^th and 28^th 
2009. The Henry County Amateur Radio Club is having a practice field day 
at Memorial Park at New Castle IN on Saturday October 18^th . This 
practice will enable our members to work out problems in setting up 
antennas and equipment that would be needed in an emergency situation. 
By preparing early we hope to make next year’s national field day 
smoother and more enjoyable for our members. During this practice we 
hope to raise eight antennas and bring eight stations on air with the 
first station being operational within one hour of arriving on site. 
This will be in conjunction with the national test of emergency 
communications held by the ARRL. We also plan for this to be a great 
learning experience with great food and great companionship with the 
many hams who will be attending.
