Hello all,
We would like to welcome you all to the new kc9gkf. As some know,
we have had some rocky times here in Seymour but that is all behind us
now. We invite you to visit the website at http//:www.kc9gkf.com
We also would like to invite you to use the repeaters here in
Seymour at your leisure. The frequencies are 147.135+ pl 103.5 and
442.975+ no pl. The 440 machine is down at the moment to replace some
components.
You all will notice the new name of our local club. It is now the
South Central Indiana Radio League. This name was suggested by one of
our newest amateur operators in Seymour. His name is Rick Rigsby. I
have known Rick for several years and I am sure that he will make a
fine addition to the amateur community.
Our intentions with this club are to have a nice, relaxed
atmosphere that anyone can enjoy. We have not scheduled any meetings
or outings as of this date, but hope to very soon. We will be hosting
a club sponsored VE test session in the Spring of this year. All VE's
are invited to contact Brent ki9g73 at gmail.com to help get this session
off the ground.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you decide to
take a part in the adventures that lie ahead with this organization.
Have a wonderful day :)
