TV Converter Program

I am recommending that Indiana Clubs consider doing what 
was suggested by Don wood, NM Section Manager: 

"What I am recommending to all our clubs is that they get
with their TV stations and have a "call in" session 
multiple times during January.

The TV stations are equipped to handle the calls and it 
can be used as PSA time. Here in Albuquerque one of the
stations has done this with lawyers - why not with the 
hams and the clubs. It is good PR.

By going with the TV stations we don't have to use our
own phone numbers, postage or inordinate man hours to 
accomplish the task. After all it is the TV viewers 
that will be addressed."

Indiana clubs that have TV stations in their city or 
county should really consider doing this as a Public
Service and obtain the great PR benefit.

Remember, Indiana's motto for 2009 is "We are Active"
