Subject: Emergency Communications Training
A two-week training class in Amateur Radio Emergency Communications will
be held November 11 and 18 in the Emerald room at the new Central
Library in Newburgh (at the southwest corner of Hwy. 66 (Lloyd
Expressway) and Bell Road). The class will run from 9:30 AM until 12:30
PM both days. This course will be presented by me (but don't let that
stop you from attending ! :) ). The course will cover procedures,
equipment and techniques involved in EmComm. This course is essentially
the same as what I've presented in the past; however, if you've already
been through the class you're welcome to attend again as we would enjoy
having your input. This session is very interactive as I learn from
your comments and 'war stories' as well. If you are interested in
attending the class please contact me via e-mail or phone at
812-455-9797. There is no charge for the class. If you know of anyone
who might be interested in attending please feel free to pass this note
on to them.
Thanks! I look forward to seeing everyone on Nov. 11!
