All of my ham radio friends:
I have some bad news. Circumstances beyond my control have forced me to
put the 2 meter repeater (Covington) & 440 Mhz repeater (Williamsport) up
for sale. My ex-wife is interfering with the custody/visitation of my
daughter and I've had to retain legal representation in two states. I enjoy
ham radio but my daughter is more important than anything else. I feel I've
been slowly losing interest in the hobby as well. I feel bad about the
Covington/Williamsport area losing the repeaters but I have no other choice.

I would hope someone local would like to buy either one or both
repeaters and keep them on the air in the area. I'm optimistic the 2 meter
repeater could stay at the water tower in Covington. The 440 repeater
possibly might have to be moved. The items will be listed on E-bay very
shortly. I will cancel the auction early if anyone wants to purchase the
repeaters to keep them on the air locally.

Here are the facts:
2 meter Motorola Micor mobile converted to a repeater. (145.490/144.890)
Arcom controller.
Sinclair duplexers (band pass/band reject). Enclosed in a nice metal cabinet
(thanks to Kevin!).
Also consists of a 440 link radio. Motorola M120 mobile radio. 8 channel.
The controller is
three ports. Two are being used. The other port is wired and ready to go for
a motorola 16 pin radio or can be tied into a second repeater. Also includes
a lightning arrestor. No power supply. The 2 meter repeater has a fan
controlled by the repeater controller and the link radio has continous fans
blowing on the heat sink.

440 Mhz repeater is two Motorola M120's 8 channel. With a mobile duplexer.
I believe it's a Phelps Dodge but could be wrong. The radios are tied
together with a RICK (repeater interface communications kit) to make the
radios act as a repeater. Heat sink, no fans.

If someone is interested I can give more details (actual model numbers,
etc.) An appointment could be made to take a look at them as well. I'll have
some pictures here very shortly.

I'm asking $2,000 for the VHF repeater and $700 for the UHF
repeater. Please e-mail me if you have questions.
