Greetings to all,

Just wanted to invite everyone to a Skywarn Spotter Class giving by
a meteorologist from the Louisville National Weather Service. It will be
held at the Greater Louisville Hamfest on September 9th. The time is
still up in the air as of right now but as soon as I find out I will let
everyone know. The meteorologist is also a Ham, Mark Jarvis KI4KGY. Mark
checks in to different nets around the state from the National Weather
Service office. Come meet Mark and say hello and learn from a Ham what
to do in severe weather. He can tell you what to look for and how to
report your findings to the NWS.
Two meteorologist will be setup all day at a table inside of the
flea market area. They will have a live tornado on display that you just
have to see. Just don't get to close. I will join them also from time to
time to answer any questions you might have on the ham operation at the
Lou. NWS.

Thanks, Stu Kratz (WX4ME)
