Nominations for the Indiana Outstanding Amateur of the Year award are
now
being accepted.

Each year the Indiana Radio Club Council selects one Indiana amateur
radio
operator who demonstrates outstanding effort in serving the amateur
radio
community.

Each nominee will be judged on years in amateur radio and service to the
community.  Include information concerning public service,
organizational
skills, mentoring, class instructor, volunteer examiner and any other
outstanding qualities that would set this person apart from other active
amateur radio operators.  The more information the selection committee
receives the better.

Include the nominees name, callsign, address and e-mail address.  All
nominees will be notified before the awards ceremony at the November Ft.
Wayne Hamfest.

DEADLINE for nominations is Thursday September 30, 2004.
