Hello,

After some work between Dave Tucek and me we have come up with a
date that will work for the NWS Spotters class. We had initially tried
to shoot for next Monday the 15th. Unfortunately I found out that the
date wouldn't work so well for the ambulance service where we are
holding the class.
The date that is set in wet mud is Weds Oct 22nd at 7pm - 9pm at
Parke Co. EMS and Transport building in Rockville Indiana. Everyone is
more than welcome though I do ask that you please RSVP to me off of the
list. If I have more than we can handle I can see if we can move the
class to the local school.
The class will be open to Amateurs, Fire Dept, EMS, police, and
any other interested parties. I believe at this time the majority of
the attendees will be EMS/Fire related. I hope that this will be a way
to not only get people in our area better trained to spot bad weather
for themselves and our coverage but to get people excited about amateur
radio in general. Maybe we can pickup one or two new hams. :)
Note: Dave did say he will call the week of the class to confirm
that there are no schedule conflicts and that we will be a 100% go.

Thank you,
Brandon A. Grindle
