I know a lot of Indiana hams who worked to get this bill passed and who 
contacted their legislators urging support of this legislation. It looked like 
the Indiana amateur radio community had made some definite progress with the 
legislature and even changed some minds about this issue.

Unfortunately, it only takes one negative action to tear down all the good work 
done in the past. I hope our relationship with the Indiana legislature isn't 
permanently damaged, but I'm afraid it will take several years to make up for 
what appears to be a major step backwards.
