SUBJECT: Bison Stampede 2002

The 2002 BISON STAMPEDE is an Indiana QSO Type Party that
celebrates the 55th anniversary of the Indiana Radio Club
Council, Inc.

The goal is to get all of the Indiana Counties on the air during
the QSO Party. It will begin at 1800Z on September 28 and end at
0200Z on September 29, 2002.

All amateur bands, 1.8 MHZ to 446 MHZ (excluding 30, 17 and 12
meters) may be used. Count 1 pt/QSO on phone, 2 pts/QSO on CW or
digital. Indiana stations can be worked once per band, mode and
county.

All logs must include: time, date, band, mode, and exchange.

Complete Rules.

A special achievement award will be given to stations working all
92 Indiana counties. A certificate commemorating the Bison
Stampede is available to anyone submitting an entry with 25 QSOs
with Indiana stations and a 9 x 12 inch self-addressed, stamped
envelope with your entry.

Bison Stampede Special Event Station
The Hamilton County ARES Club (HCARES) will operate special event
station "N9I" in the Bison Stampede.

Operating Times: 1800Z September 28 to 0200Z September 29.

Approximate Frequencies: 3.850, 7.230, 14.250, 21.300, 28.450,
50.130, 144.205, 432.105 MHz.
