Hi Dan,
I have chosen the GU74B (4CX800A) it will do an easy 800W out with 2200 VDC,
of course it will also do less. I can get the tube new in box for $60 and the
socket fo $30. Check my 6 meter web page for more info and pictures.
I am using a Motorola amp and making the tube work with that. I am going to
do one for 2 meters as well. I have two motorola chasis for two meters and
one for 6 meters.
