Thanks for the update guys.

Perhaps some information that each member can use if he so chooses, rather
than a blanket broadcase of a bulletin that may or may not affect where you
and I live?

In that vein here is a site where I have been subscribed almost as long as I
have been a ham and longer than I have been a member of this list.
http://www.ibiblio.org/morris/weather/awns.html  This will allow you to
receive emails from the NWS based on the NWS office/area you specify. The
details and how tos are quite straight forward. In spite of the disclaimer
at the site, the arrival of those emails is timely in all but the rarest
cases. It is well worth the effort to visit and subscription is as easy as
any other.
