[ILQSO] W9WB After Action

I didn't do much "action" this year. I wasn't sure how much I'd be able to
be on the air. It was interrupted a few times, but there was some BIC
time. Since I was only at home this year, I tried to be the station to
just be consistent and hand out opportunities. I made an effort to run a
high band (10/15), 20M, and 40M in 20 minute segments. Being able to spot
made that feel like I didn't waste as much time getting noticed and just
got to work handing out contacts.

A few technical notes. Keep the headphones on, don't use the speaker.
Even at home, the IC-7300 speaker is hard to make out the weak stations and
get them in the log. While my 40M and up EFHW isn't as efficient as a
dipole, it's easy to make those band changes in a hurry. I also figured
out that I can use N3FJP to send CAT commands to trigger the voice keyer
memories right from the keyboard. Sooo much easier!
