[ILQSO] LOG PROGRESS

Howdy!

 

So far 312 logs have been received and acknowledged.  The preliminary
processing has been done on all of these, which means they are all part of
the Master Log database.

 

1)        Log submissions have been largely error-free, for which I thank
you all!  Very few logs have needed to be corrected or resubmitted.

2)        WA9GBC's software is doing its job. Thanks, Dave!  So far, I
haven't had to bug him about any problems I've encountered. 

3)        We are 14 days after the end of the event.  My intention next year
is to drop the submission deadline from 30 days to 14 days.  This is not
unusual for many contests.  I have received only half a dozen logs in the
last 2 days. 

4)        Next step is to see which "major participants" have NOT submitted
logs and do some begging and pleading.  I'm not sure this is warranted, but
I have to have something to do between now and the 30-day deadline...
