I always look at the spotting clusters as the best way to find stations.
The change in the rule this year that allows self-spotting will be helpful.
Mark and I will be spotting ourselves

VE7CC is easy to install and use

Subject: Re: [ILQSO] Frequency use

We have not, in recent years, made any suggestions. If activity is good,
it's a matter of finding a clear frequency and going at it!

I will make two comments:

1) The high bands, if recent history is any indication, will be really good.
Don't overlook 10 and 15 meters, especially early. It's a really good way
to be sure you get the allowed 5 DXCC multipliers. Twenty meters will
probably be good all the way up to 0100z.

2) On the other hand, it will take some work to get the close-in stuff if
you spend too much time on the high bands. Some mobiles will be workable
ONLY on 80 meters, so it doesn't hurt to check that band occasionally, even
very early.

3) On 40 meter SSB, bear in mind that Europeans cannot go above 7200. After
about 2100z, EU DX is very possible on 40.

4) Most mobiles, on CW, will be between 30 and 60 khz above the lower band
edge. On SSB, it's anyone's guess.

5) Mobiles may find that being consistent in a frequency choice may help
others to find you more quickly when you change bands and counties. In the
past, several of the mobiles have "pre-announced" their preference of a
frequency, knowing that someone else may be camped there when you QSY.

Let the other comments commence.....
