[ILQSO] N1MM & cluster spotting

Au contraire, mon ami! Spotting a mobile in a new county helps everybody. The only downside is that the pileups get to be really big in a hurry! Suggestion: do NOT zero beat the mobile. Most of us run with fairly tight filters, but not so tight that we can't pick out stations a couple of hundred hertz off our frequency. Not having everyone call exactly zero beat will often allow us to pick out two or three stations from each group of callers.

Rovers and mobiles often will append their calls with the county they are in. Even if they do not, those doing the spotting can help everyone else out by including the county the station is being spotted in. Simply spotting a station in a QSO Party really does little to help anyone.

I am sure others will chime in with ideas as well.
