[ILQSO] LOG MUSINGS

 Jim,Christian county was activated by W9EBK and N9HHE. I'm hoping to get the logs in tonight. The bad news was that due to equipment and antenna problems operations were minimal, and almost exclusively out of state. I think N9HHE may have only worked 1 or 2 instate stations. I didn't work any. We head a few, but couldn't get them to hear us. Don, W9EBK

A few observations so far regarding ILQP logs:
1) The log submissions this year will far surpass anything we've ever seen
previously.  We're just short of 400 so far.
2) This is probably partly a result of the stateqsoparty activity dreamed up
by WN4AFP and others.  Well done!
3) People are getting a LOT better at sending the right files!  I've
received no files for other contests and only two .adi files.  
4) There are going to be some really big scores despite so-so conditions.
This applies to both IL and non-IL entries.
5) The cheerleading done prior to the contest by many has been a great
success.  Thanks, everyone. You know who you are!
6) I'm not sure anyone activated Christian County??  That might be the only
one MIA.

Keep the logs coming.
