Reminder: Please send ILQP logs to n9jf at arrl.net. Logs are due 30 days
after the party ends. There is no "Robot". ("I....robot...."). You should
receive an acknowledgement from me within 24 hours (usually a lot less, but
it gets crazy for the first couple of days.). If not, try resending. I
don't think my spam filter will catch these, but there is no guarantee. If
after the second try you hear nothing, just send an e-mail without the
attachment and ask what's going on.

Please note that the logs need to be:

1) As attachments, though in some cases embedded in the e-mail works. We
have to "extract" these, however.
2) In Cabrillo format or in Excel (see the sample log form on the website
("ILQP Template" under "Resources"). This is easy to use and works well for
us.
3) NOT a pdf or a scanned log!

If you can't pull your log into Excel, neither can we; and that's what
ultimately has to happen for our system.

I look at each log when it's received before passing it on to the log guru.
If it doesn't look right, I'll ask for clarification or a different format.
Each year, we get PDF files, scanned files, logs for the wrong contest
(NYQP, CQWW....), logs with no operator info, .adi files (no, I can't afford
time to retype all of these into Excel....), and other weird stuff I have
mercifully forgotten.

Yes, we still accept paper logs, providing they contain all of the required
information. Unless you send a paper log, you do NOT need to send a summary
sheet. Paper logs are subject to transcription errors, and the transcribers
will be held harmless. Illegible logs will receive little grace. (We don't
usually get many of those). If you log on computer, send the Cabrillo output
of the logging program as an attachment!

I'm retired, but with diminished mental capacity. If you have questions,
ask; and I'll respond when I get up from my nap.

73 and have fun on Sunday!
Jim N9JF
