Per N9JF’s plan, I will operate CW at 044 above the band edge, and I plan to call CQ a lot. However, I will check all the band before I change to another band or mode, looking for any Illinois station calling CQ. SSB operation will be less prevalent, as I am not strong on phone and will likely NOT call CQ, instead I will try to work whoever I hear calling CQ ILQP. If you are fixed station, and strong, PLEASE ask for mobiles often, as you likely won’t hear us (and then not work a new county) if others are calling. I won’t waste a lot of time calling you if I already have your county in the log.

Here’s what I just posted to the County Hunter website http://www.countyhunterweb.org/DisplayTrips.php

ILLINOIS QSO PARTY.. operating LP mobile as a rover. Primarily 40 meter CW and SSB with remaining time in each county for 20 meter CW/SSB or 80 meter CW...will try 15 meters late afternoon. Will call CQ on CW, but mostly S&P on SSB, so listen hard. EARLIEST arrival time UTC in each county: 1700-Ford/Iroquois/Vermillion; 1820 Champaign; 1850 Douglas/Edgar; 1920 Edgar; 1945 Cole; 2005 Clark/Cumberland/Cole; 2100 Jasper; 2140 Crawford; 2200 Richland/Lawrence; 2240 Edwards/Wabash. Good chance I will be running later than these times (maybe be a couple hours) as it's a solo effort, and my back ain’t young any more.

Be sure to spot THE MOBILES and ROVERS. Many county hunters spot to the W6RK site http://ch.w6rk.com/

Let’s hope for good weather and great propagation
