Before the day is out, I plan to have another list of planned operations, by county, available at http://www.w9awe.org/Chal%20Plan%20Ops.pdf. I don't guarantee that the exact order of counties is correct, but please let me know of any egregious errors or omissions.

A few of you are doing your first Rover or Mobile operation. Think "redundancy". Strange things happen (most of them have happened to me, which is why I mention this....). Take an extra radio if you can. Take extra antennas and a spare key. I recently had a mag mount coax short out and become useless. If something happens, forge ahead and do the best you can. Be safe. This, after all, is a game.

Note that if you work W9OAB (25 point bonus) and 59 other IL stations during the party, you can hop right over to http://www.w9awe.org/challenge.html and click on the IL 200 Log tab and fill out the application for the basic award. Lacking W9OAB, 67 IL contacts (different stations) will suffice. If you work all 102 counties (not just during ILQP but by Dec 3) you can apply for the IL WAC Log award.

It appears that we have the best lineup all time of planned operations, and there is no rain in the forecast. This should be a good one!
