The Illinois Bicentennial Challenge Awards
To help celebrate the 200th anniversary of Illinois' admission to the Union, the Western Illinois ARC is sponsoring two operating achievement awards.

The operating period begins August 9, 2018 and ends December 3, 2018 and includes the Illinois QSO Party on Sunday, October 21. Any contact with any Illinois station during that period (pursuant to the details in the website above) gives credit for both awards.  
Illinois stations are encouraged to post plans to the ILQP Reflector, activate as many counties as possible during that period and submit logs as detailed in the web posting.  Log submission and the use of "/IL200" appending calls are completely optional. 
Stations applying for either award must follow the instructions detailed in the website.  We envision considerable interest from the county hunting and park chasing communities as many of the activations will take place from rare counties and from park entities.
