I had an out of town commitment on Saturday night with a stay overnight in
Indiana, so by the time we got back home I only had a little over 2 hours
on the contest. I started on 20 for a bit and ran a few west coast stations
before switching to 80M. I'm having antenna issues on 40M, so I didn't get
a chance to check it out. I thought I could run quite a few counties at the
end of the contest on 80M, but it didn't work out so well. I ran S&P
through the band once and then came back down to look for a clear
frequency. Thanks to K4BAI for helping me get a clear frequency! I
contacted several stations until about the last hour and then my calls went
unanswered. I spun through the band again and didn't hear much local, so
the band either got really bad or went long. However, I only heard a few
strong signals on the band elsewhere, so I'm guessing it just got bad with
the incoming rain.

Here's the few contacts I could hand out for VERM, which I hope helped. I
saw only one station on the map for VERM. Not sure if anyone else was one
or not.
