Doesn't it look great to have the entire map in yellow!! Thanks to all who have recently posted plans. Now, one more push: When you are on the air this week, whether it's HF or the local repeater, mention the party to stations you contact. Emphasize that this is our chance in Illinois to showcase the state's amateur activity. Even an hour on the air will make a big difference in how much fun everyone has. That guy you talk to on Thursday in Wabash or Lawrence or Wayne, and who gets on the air for an hour on Sunday, MIGHT just be your only contact with the county in the contest. In fact, he might wind up being the only station on the air from that county. Things happen.... Last year, there was ONE CONTACT made with Lawrence County....
Regarding log submission: As in the past, e-mail your log as an attachment to n9jf at arrl.net. The response you receive is NOT from a "robot", so it won't be instantaneous. You should, however receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours. If you don't, please simply send me an e-mail to inquire. Each year a certain number of logs get caught in my spam filter. I can retrieve these, but it's not guaranteed. There will be the usual "Logs Received" list on the website as time goes on. YOU WILL GET MY OUT OF OFFICE MESSAGE since I am on short-term disability following surgery, but I will nevertheless get your e-mail.
Questions...please let me know.
73, Jim N9JF
