Attached is the familiar Illinois county and logging abbreviation list with
an addition.

 

In the course of the contest, I found I would occasionally need or desire to
know where a

particular county was located.  Searching through 102 oddly shaped counties
on the activity

map gets tedious.

 

Sooo, I arbitrarily divided the state up into nine geographic areas.N/W,
S/E, S/Central, etc.

 

I can now very quickly find any county on the activity map with little
difficulty.

 

Whether a county is N/E or N/C, etc. is, in some instances, open to debate
and you may or

may not want to change some designations to suit your preferences.

 

I hope you find this useful during the ILQP.  Please let me know of any
glaring errors.
