[ILQSO] "Out-of-State" participation

I did an analysis of my log this evening and was surprised to discover
that half (220) of my 445 QSO's were from "out-of-state".  And when you
consider the number of multi-county stations in the state, it amounts
to more than half of my contacts.

I spent a lot of time calling CQ, so I suppose that lessens the
prejudice of search and pounce toward Illinois stations.

Do we always have that much "out-of-state" participation?
