[ILQSO] Another scoring question

If you can anchor at a spot that can be accurately identified as such, I have no problem with it. Years ago, there was a /MM that used to anchor west of San Francisco in the CQP and put out 3 or 4 counties at once.
You won't catch me trying it. Too susceptible to motion sickness...

Another question along these maritime lines, and within Illinois, is that if someone operated at the Bond, Clinton, Fayette county corners?

Subject: [ILQSO] Another scoring question
During ILQP we were called by AA2UK Maritime Mobile on 80 SSB. He said his home is in NJ. So does that just count as a QSO point? Since he was signing Maritime Mobile, he probably doesn't count as NJ. It's not really DX either. If I leave the RCVD field empty Writelog calls it invalid so I put NJ in the RCVD field to save the contact, then went back after the contest and edited the RCVD field to be empty, but does that make the QSO invalid?
That's the first time I've been called by a Maritime Mobile in a QSO party!
So, the question remains, how should I log the QSO to be accurate and comply with the rules?
