Yes, please take time from the ILQP and work the scouts when you run across
them (they are all potential future hams) and, please, remember to avoid
interfering with any other groups, events or established nets at all costs!

I want to jump in the ILQSO discussion to remind everyone that Scout
Jamboree on the Air begins Saturday morning. We will be operating from
Morris at the Rainbow Scout Reservation, and hope to be active during the
Party on Sunday morning for a few hours. Look for K9RSR on 147.57 and
446.15 in addition to HF.

left if off the spreadsheet of the route he gave me, as it shows us taking
IL-47 from Grundy county into Kane county, and that passes thought Kendall.

of the total counties will be activated only by a single mobile or rover
(notice the different colored background of those counties that only have
one mobile or rover scheduled to be there and for a very short period of
time at that). We also have a much larger than usual number of portable
operations, mostly downstate (I am sure that makes the job easier for the
mobiles).

counties not yet claimed, Rock Island and Kendall. I am pretty sure those
will be activated by fixed stations, but you never know. If we do manage to
activate all 102 counties, I believe it would only be the second time it has
happened.

please take a look at both and let me know of any corrections I need to
make.
