Jim, K9JG,
Thanks for stepping up to cover the northwest top-tier of counties next
Sunday as a rover. I normally would come over to cover these myself, as I
have done for several years in the past, but I need to be out of town this
coming weekend, up in west-central Wisconsin, away from radio. There is
otherwise nothing better than a warm, sunny October afternoon in the
Illinois countryside with fields of drying corn all around.
Cheers/73,
Kevin, K9IUA

No problem, Kevin, I'll keep those counties RF warm for you for next year.
I seem to wander all over the state from year to year when I'm in town for
ILQP.

The activity map has been updated and I believe covers everything I have
heard about through Monday afternoon. Check it out and let me know if I
missed anyone one or where my mistakes are. I hope to have the text list by
county and mode updated in the next couple of days.
We are getting really close to having all 102 counties spoke for, but there
are a couple that may be a problem. In the past we have had plenty of
stations on from Kane, McHenry, Rock Island, Will and Kendall but Moultrie,
LaSalle and Bureau I am not quite a confident about.

We still have one mobile to be heard from that I think may take care of some
of the northern counties. As for Rock Island, I find it hard to believe
there won't be someone on from there, though the usual suspects don't
necessarily post ahead of time. As for Moultrie, I don't know if there is a
chance of KF9D picking up that one? He has quite an assignment already. I
don't think I can get it even if another portable comes out of the woodwork
to cover Jersey and Greene.
To KJ9C: would it be easier for you to get Moultrie than Bond?
