The rash of intended operations posted the last 24 hours is encouraging.  E-mail works. Gee...who knew???

On a sort of unrelated topic, the 2011 "Illinois Edible Awards" go out tomorrow.  Better late than never. This wasn't a WIARC blunder; KB9CES and I just forgot we hadn't done it!

As a follow up to the 2011 event, special recognition is given to a former member of the PRIME ARA, KC9CIL, who became a SK less than a year ago.  To quote KM9O, Curtis  " was a 'behind the scenes' man who contributed his time and equipment to the greater good of the community and Amateur Radio."  

Congratulations to PRIME and to the other IL clubs including KARS, the aggregate winner, for all your efforts in drumming up activity in 2011!
