[ILQSO] High power/low power categories?

  I am offering this up for thought and discussion.  I wonder if we are approaching a time when the fixed station category needs to split into both a high and low power category?  Over the past several years, it appears (sounds like?) that an increasing number of stations are running over 100 watts output and have a commanding presence on the bands, especially on 80 and 40 meters.  I'm not against high power operation whatsoever but am thinking that perhaps the time has come to separate the two like other contests do and "level" the playing field.
