All I have to say is WOW!  I can't even work repeaters in Peoria and was
floored when I worked Craig on 2M simplex from home here with a vertical
only about 25 foot off the ground!  I don't know how high your VHF antenna
is but we are 4 counties apart.  Wild contact for the band not to be "open".

I think I also worked you a few times on HF from the rover on a county line
and then back at home for my second effort.  Nice job there Craig for the 85

counties!   Congrats!
