Hank -
I was the CW operator on the N9FN team, and did not think we worked on 40 CW
so I just looked at our logs. I know I saw that N9FN had worked you on 40
SSB, and I worked you later on 80 CW, but those are the only times you are
in our log.
I vaguely recall hearing something that may have been your call on 40 CW...
and came back but never heard you again.... I sent nil, made no log entry,
and continued operating. I figured you might call again when conditions
were more favorable. What I heard on 40 was VERY weak, and may or may not
have been you. I thought it might be you running QRP... but we did not
have a QSO on 40 CW. Sorry. As I recall, your signal was not too
badlater on 80.
