[ILQSO] W9P in ILQSO

I've been N8M, N8Q, N9Q (in ILQP 2006 & 20007), W8M, N1L (to make sure
people have at least one N)ot 1)n L)og in their log), and probably
several other calls in various QSO Parties and other contests. The ARRL
1x1 VEC is receptive to using 1x1's for such purposes.
The following is in my ILQP log:
QSO: 7030 CW 2012-10-21 1923 N8XX 599 MI W9P 599 COOK
Great idea. We had enough stations to spell "M A C K I N A C" during
the Michigan QSO party in the year the Mackinac Bridge between lower and
upper peninsula of the state. What specialty does Illinois have, which
might entice a dozen or more folks to apply for 1x1 calls?
Just some ramblings.
