Subject: [ILQSO] Wabash County - possible operation
I have requested permission to operate from Beall County State Park in
Wabash County. At this point, the operation is still tentative, but I will
confirm it as soon as permission is received. The purpose of this e-mail is
to ask if anyone else is contemplating operating from Wabash County.
Operating from Wabash County requires over 8 hours driving time (round
trip); an effort I am happy to make if I am going to be the most popular
station (only station) in the county. Otherwise, I would prefer to operate
the contest from home in Ohio. I hope that does not sound selfish.
I will be on CW and SSB on 80/75, 40, 20 and 15, although the 80/75 antenna
will be mediocre.
