Jim,On item 3 (operating portable then moving to operate from home) the answer you gave was what I expected, but wanted to double check. The RF noise at the first location was just too bad. Unfortunately that location was the Red Cross headquarters in Springfield.Thanks,Don, W9EBK

I'm not sure what the log.txt file looks like, but it should be OK.  An Excel file is certainly OK because that's where the data lands eventually.

As for your other question....aaaaugh.

Did you work some of the same people from both places?  If you were using the same call, probably not.  My recommendation would be just to call it a Fixed Station operation since at least part of it was using permanent antennas.

Is it OK to submit the log.txt file from N3FJP? And, is it OK to submit an excel file? I operated from 2 places but they were in the same county. Does that make me a Rover, Fixed,or do I need to split the logs since one operation was Portable and the other was the home QTH.
