Thanks Kevin. Mike, KN9T, is the wood smith and I thought he did an
outstanding job with them. They are walnut no less, with a very smooth
polyurethane finish. I know there is a good bit of labor into each blank as
Mike did all the cutting, sanding and finishing to the wood.

Thanks, Danny, for mailing my 2009 first place Rover plaque.  Please thank
the person who cut out and stained all those state outlines!  (For those
that haven't seen one, the plaque is a wooden Illinois about 8 inches or so
tall and stained in a nice dark color, with a plate affixed on the front
with the award and a hanger on the back, all set to put on that available
nail on the wall.)  My wife was impressed (not by my effort, but by the
plaque :-).

My score last year was not stellar, so it wouldn't take much for someone to
beat me this year in the Rover category.  Go for it, as I need to
competition
