[ILQSO] KJ9C a no-show this year

Jarrod -

You make a valid point... it is going to be easier for many to get involved, and get a taste of contesting as phone only ops... and many of them may never choose to try cw contesting... but when N9FN & I have done QSO parties from IL, MI, OH & IN it seems to me that we have NEVER run out of phone stations to work. We do both modes to maximize our score. I know some mobiles prefer cw because they may have a hard time being heard... and even harder to make themselves heard on phone.

I don't know what the balance of phone vs. cw operations is in ILQP etc... but we are happy for all we can get... on both modes.

73 and good luck,

-Dave-
