Man, you get the "drum up activity" award for the year! Nice work!

Now if we just had someone of your talents in the southern quarter of the state.....

Another update.

I just talked to Jim, N9LQF. They discussed the QSO party at the club
meeting in Montgomery County last night and there will be some operators on
in that county. He called John, N9FTA and he is going to email all of the
op's he knows in Madison County so that will produce a few there. There are
plenty of hams that are contesters in that County. He has two operators
that are going to be on from Christian County. Like before N9LQF and the
K9MCE club are going to be operating from the corner of
Macoupin/Green/Jersey Counties. I am still working on Bond County. I
talked to Mike, W9RNY and he will get on from Morgan County. Frank, KC9IDX
will be on from Cass County. Frank is going to get in contact with Greg,
K9GKL in Winchester (Scott County) to see if he can get on. It would be
nice to find someone in Calhoun County but I am not sure I know of any over
that way. I do know some op's over in Pike/Brown/Schuyler Counties that I
will get in touch with to see if some of them can be active too. That
should cover this side of the state pretty well from Cass over to Adams and
south to St Louis! :) We have also been talking about it quite a bit on
the Springfield area reapeaters so that should stir some interest from
Sangamon County.

Tim, KB9FBI
