[ILQSO] Alaska in the ILQP

This ought to increase our chances of catching Alaska during this year's
ILQSO.

As I mentioned the other day there is a special event operation from AK on
Oct. 18 to celebrate Alaska Day, when AK became a US Territory, and the 50th
anniversary of AK statehood.  Didn't realize the ILQP was on the same day,
but you can work us anyway!  AK doesn't have an annual QSO party event -
apparently not enough ops interested.  However, the ARRL has approved the
KL5O special event operation as counting toward credit for the Year of the
State QSO Party award, so if you hit a dry spell during the ILQP and decide
to go S&P for new mults listen up for KL5O from AK!  More info at
