Jim,

Okay on the "iron man" award....hi..hi.  That weekend, I didn't really
feel
like one.  As a result of the radiation to my neck, I had to have a
feeding
tube put in in early September.  That weekend, the feeding tube got out
of
position, which is why I felt so lousy during the contest & didn't
operate
much.  I had my 1st round of chemo that next week, & with my lowered
immune
system, the feeding tube location became infected.  I spent 2 weeks in
the
hospital with a raging infection that went septic (Yes, you almost lost
me.).  I was home for 2 days & then went back into the hospital with
another
type of infection called c-diff.  That stay was for another week.  I am
only
just now getting back to "normal".

What happened to the certificates for the single-county portables?  Due
to
my illness, I had to stay closer to home & could not put out the effort
I
should have, but still I was wondering if by some miracle I made the top
3.

I see there was no SSB activity from Hardin County.  Hopefully, we will
be
able to go back to Cave-In-Rock State Park next year & fix that.
