[ILQSO] Advice for QSO Party organizers?

One small point, which should be noted by QSO Party organizers everywhere:

Many of the parties set their suggested frequencies years ago, before the
phone band expansion on 75 and 40 meters. Often they suggest something like 3980
 and 7250.

Note that on 40 meters the General class phone band now goes down to 7175.
With the international broadcasters just last week vacating the frequencies
below 7200, every contest should be setting their suggested frequencies down
around 7175 or 7200. Less QRM, and European phone qsos become a real
possibility.

This also makes easier for a mobile op to get an antenna to tune on both
code and phone.

On 75 meters, the General band goes down to 3800. Down in that area contest
activity regularly shows up. Up higher are more established nets, AM
frequencies, etc., where contest QRM is likely to be less well received.

A bunch of '0'-landers here are trying to put together an Iowa QSO-Party.
What advice would the ILQP group have for us? Things to do - or not do?
