Ray, you are correct...it would be "against the spirit of the rules".
It is "against the letter of the rules" for two mobile stations to use
the same vehicle. For portable/rover/fixed stations, no such rule has
been lettered so far, and I would prefer that it not be necessary, which
it will not as long as individuals recognize the spirit as you have.

Yes, about the only way I am going to work Hardin County is to snag a
mobile
passing through.
However, I did look through the rules & found what I believe to be an
omission. The way the rules are currently written, I could send Pam,
K9JMA,
to the other side of the campground with her 2m HT & work K9JMA/M for
credit. Most contests prohibit individuals involved in the operation of
a
station from working that station for credit. No "manufactured"
contacts.
I am certain that my working K9JMA/M for Hardin County credit would be
against the spirit of the rules, but apparently it is actually within
the
letter of the rules.
