Nope, it's been eight hours long for many years. We just moved it up an
hour a couple of years ago.
It just *seems* too short unless you are freezing go death on a picnic
table or lost on a gravel road :)

Didn't we shave 2 hours off of the contest? That'll make it harder to
break any existing records.

Be aware that there are several counties, states and provinces for which
the current scoring records are very reachable. Good way to get some
new "names in lights" in this year's contest.

Fixed stations: raw scores
Portable stations: raw scores divided by number of counties
There are 26 counties for which there have NEVER been fixed or portable
score submitted!! Also some states and provinces.... Fourteen counties
have records under ten thousand points. Twenty-six states, provinces
and countries have records under ten thousand points....
Go get 'em.
