So you compare your 4 co line score with other 4 co lines scores looking for
measure, ie an even playing field. Good. I do too as 3 co corner op for
several years but the rules throw all of us in the same pot. Like bringing
a knife to a gun fight, sure you have a chance but......

Well, I don't look at plaques, or whatever. I just look at what the other
four county line ops did. I was very surprised to get a 5th place
certificate for county line ops - I never expected it.
Perhaps I should have said "As a 4 county line portable, I only compete with
other 4 county line stations (regardless of what the rules say.)"
That's why I was surprised to get a certificate - I didn't bother to read
the part of the rules concerning awards - I enter for the fun of it!
I ended my comment with "I personally think the ILQP gang does a FB job in
getting things organized!" We should cut them some slack, quite a bit of
slack.
