Remember, this year the MARAC SSB contest is this weekend, also.  It is no
longer in conflict with the Dayton Hamvention.

Subject: [ILQSO] MARAC CW Contest

While some of you are chasing the NE, IN, and 7-Land
QSO Parties this weekend, we invite you to give us a
few contacts in the MARAC CW Contest, which runs from
0000Z May 3 to 2400Z May 4.  For more details on the
contest which has been scheduled the first full
weekend in May for over 16 years (before any of the
other contest appeared), check the website at 
aa8r.net

Exchange is RST-State-County  (for counties there is a
4 letter abbreviation which can be found on AA8R.net,
however I will take anything you send that will
distingish your county, and I am sure many others will
also.

Your are all invited to work us either fixed, or join
us mobile for as much of the contest as you like. 
Whether 2 or 3 hours from a couple counties up to all
48 hours from many counties.  We certainly would
welcome some IL counties in the contest this year.  I
will be running about 60 counties in KY this year,
which is about the number I have run each of the past
12 years.

Hope you can join us some, and I hope to be back in IL
this October.
