[ILQSO] log submission questions

If you submit any Cabrillo format, it's "adequate". You don't need to
send a dupe sheet with an electronic entry. A summary sheet is
recommended with an electronic entry (so I can catch MY mistakes) and
required with paper entries.
We'll get the mults straight in the scoring as long as you copied them
correctly and I can figure out what you meant without equivocation. We
are still giving a "pass" this year to those who mix up WHIT and WTSD.
In other words, you won't get credit for the "wrong" one but you won't
get dinged for the "right" one. Okay, that's still confusing....but
we'll try to do the right thing.....
At least you had a Dairy Queen close by :)

Subject: [ILQSO] log submission questions
If I just submit my Cabrillo log file (properly named, i.e.
kb9lie.log), is that adequate? Do the IL and DX multipliers get added,
since the NA template doesn't seem to recognize them as mults? How does
it know my entry class, which was portable rather than fixed?
If the PDF summary sheet on the web page was a fill-in form, I could
just put the log in Excel and add the summary. Maybe next year.
Also NA did not recognized LEE as a mult, I suspect because it is a
3-letter rather than 4-letter abbreviation. I don't think that matters
in the Cabrillo log though.
Three words for conditions from Carroll County this year: brutal,
brutal, brutal. Maybe add sucked and disappointing. I got to watch the
NASCAR race and the end of the Bears game, though, and make a food run
to Dairy Queen in town.
Calling CQ on 20 and 40 sideband was futile but I tried for way too
long. Thanks goodness 75 opened up finally.
I got my license in 1995 so this is my second solar minimum.
