[ILQSO] N9FN ILQP report

Here are the scores for the N9FN operation from the CHAM/DOUG/EDGR/VERM
intersection.   Other than the high winds, Dave & Dave, N9FN & K9FN had a
great time, great weather, and a lot of fun.   It was the maiden voyage for
my new hamshack on wheels.    I obtained a used 42' pneumatic mast from an
old TV truck and installed it in a 3/4 ton delivery van I purchased from a
local electrical supply house.   Dave and I have been doing a lot of work on
the van over the last few months and it performed great.   Of course there
are some things we will continue to improve on, but the initial test was
deemed a great success.   The only disappointment was we decided to not put
the Cushcraft A3s up due to the high winds and wind advisory that had been
issued for the area.   With 20 not being a very productive band, it probably
didn't make a lot of difference, but it may have generated a few more state
mults early on.   We used inverted V's for 40 and 80 with an IC-7000 and an
LDG AT-7000 tuner.

We would both like to extend a very special thanks to Bruce (K9LOF) and his
wife Kay (W9KAY) for their help and kindness.    Their hospitality made the
trip even more enjoyable.

We are already looking forward to returning next year!
