[ILQSO] Illinois digital ham spam

I too got the same requests. I was a member of the group and decided I
had no interest in most of their discussions, so I left the group. I
started getting the requests all over again, although I have not had one
for a few weeks now.

It may be possible to note the email address of the sender and use you
email or SPAM filter software to block that sender, but that may not
work either. I am reasonably sure the invitations are generated
intentionally (manually), so I would think an email to the originator
should get you removed from the list.

I have not had that trouble with any other group before. I seem to
remember it was a Yahoo group, so may a complaint to Yahoo would get it
stopped if nothing else does.

Yes, I think it's a real group, but I don't know how to get

"illinoisdigitalham-owner at  yahoo groups" .

Is this a real group? Is there a way to get off their  spam list?
