Soapbox : 40 was long at start of contest. I did not
work many Illinois counties until I moved to 80 at
3:30PM. Then things picked up.  Did not get any
responses on 20 meters, either.  Never thought I would
see 80 meters being a day-time work horse band!  This
must be the bottom of the solar cycle!  What will
things be like in a few weeks for Sweeps???
Pre-announced freqs on SSB and CW for the IQP would
help out greatly.
